Greetings Fellow Members. The good news is that we are scheduling future work with high expectations of being able to actually complete it. We are of course holding our breath!!!!!.
Note: Recent Grand Lodge edict allows virtual meetings, but cancels all in-person meeting for the rest of the year. This bulletin was created before the edict was presented.
Greetings Fellow Masked Members. We have managed to get in some work despite the best efforts of Covid and the Grand Lodge Communication was held on October 23rd and they did it in one day. Don’t you get nervous when old guys start to reminisce, and they want to tell you about their Grand Lodge experience back in the day. Yeah me too but I am going to reminisce anyway. Those were the days, getting up early and getting a good seat, watching all the pomp and ceremony for 2 ½ days and then going out to enjoy some fellowship with the guys every night in a new town where no one knew you except the guys you were with and they weren’t going to blab about your exploits. It felt good to watch the proceedings and to be a part of something meaningful. What a difference a year makes. Even though things have changed you still belong to something meaningful. There are lessons to relearn, tenants to explore and ideas about life and what it can mean for you. Active participation is a great way to reinforce the early lessons you learned. Learn the work of a particular chair that interests you, learn a lecture or charge and ask to fill in on degree night and give it. I guarantee the experience will increase your desire to learn more and help you to appreciate your fraternity.
